Joomla! Developer

Experience: Mid-level (3 to 5 years)

Job Type: Contract/Project

Job Status: Part-Time

Summary:

We are a digital media company looking for a qualified, talented developer experienced developing web applications with the latest release of Joomla Content Management System. Developer must have significant experience in developing websites using Joomla (portfolio submission required) and be comfortable creating Joomla components on their own. Work is done remotely, thus excellent communication skills and a high level of responsiveness is very important. Developer must be available during daytime hours via email and phone.

Qualified Candidates:

• • Expert in PHP & MySQL
  • Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, Apache, HTML, Javascript and CSS.
  • Must have strong knowledge of CMS architecture and plugin development, including the ability to customize themes, customize existing plugins or build new one.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot PHP issues and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Must be flexible and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
